Our God is both diverse and creative.
Things to think about-
[x] A caterpillar has 228 separate and distinct muscles in its head.
[x] The average elm tree has approximately 6 million leaves on it.
[x] Your own heart generates enough pressure as it pumps blood throughout your body that it could squirt blood up to 30 feet.
[x] there are 3,000 different species of trees within one square mile in the Amazon Jungle
[x] think of how plants defy gravity by drawing water upwards from the ground into their stems and veins
[x] spiders produce 3 kinds of silk. When they build their webs, they make sixty feet of silk in one hour, simmultaneously producing a special oil on their feet so that they won't stick to their own web.
[x] Coral plants are so sensitive that if the water temperature changes by even one or two degrees they will die.
[x] When you get goose bumps, the hair in your folicles is helping you stay warmer by trapping body heat.
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
-Psalm 19:1-4
God is Holy - God has been perfectly set apart, with nothing and no one to compare Him to.
God is eternal - Psalm 102: 12, 27.
God is all-knowing - Psalm 139. Hebrews 4:13. He made absolutely everything, yet he knows us; all aspects of our insignificant lives...and the cool thing is, that he chooses to.
God is all-powerful - Daniel 4:35
God is fair and just - God hates sin, so people who sin are punished. Proverbs 8:13. We have no reason to excuse our sins, because God despises them and sent his son to cover them.
before the throne - Isaiah 6. Revelation 4.
-This beauty deserves praise, recognition, glory, and honor. Because God is so beautiful, that should affect the way we speak to him every day.
What would be the first words out of your mouth if you were standing in front of our beautiful God?
